Liturgy and the New Evangelization

June 2016 - Notre Dame Center for Liturgy

Liturgy and the New Evangelization was a four-day conference that I attended at the University of Notre Dame through their Center for Liturgy. This conference brought together Catholic educators, clergy, youth and campus ministers, and others who serve the Catholic faithful to discuss the role of the Mass in spreading the message of the Gospel and bringing people back to the Church in a time of growing secularism and disaffiliation.

National Conference on Catholic Youth Ministry

December 2014 - San Antonio, Texas

The National Conference on Catholic Youth Ministry is an annual conference for anyone who works with young people in the Catholic Church, particularly classroom teachers, catechists, and directors of religious education. I attended this conference with one of my colleagues at Divine Child High School in order to network with others who work in youth ministry and to learn how we might better provide for the needs of the students we serve.

Eileen Ludwig Greenland National Bearing Witness Summer Institute

July 2014 - Washington D.C.

The Eileen Ludwig Greenland National Bearing Witness Summer Institute is an annual conference that provides a full scholarship for participants due to the generosity of the conference's namesake, Eileen Ludwig Greenland. The Summer Institute is a partnership between the Catholic National Education Foundation, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, the Anti-Defamation League, and Georgetown University. The purpose of this conference is to bring together Catholic educators from around the country in order to build their capacity to teach about Judaism, specifically the history of the Holocaust, in a Catholic setting.
